Hello everyone. Is it possible to get ringtomes and alerts from OS5 into the new OS6 ? I updated to OS6-418 succesfully but am used to the old alerts which I had personalised for specific callers. Now need those , is it possible ? Thanks

You can, I did when I updated my 9650's OS to 6 from 5. I had the same issue - I was used to the old ringtones & customizations. I copied the ringtones & alerts from my Tour, and then used BBSAK to delete the OS6 tones and install the OS5 ones. PM sent re: e-mail address where I can send the .cod file.

Which actually seems to be a program, rather than a web browser link.

Link doesn't open in BB Browser.

Tried to run it as a program and got an error

"907 Invalid COD"
"File Not Found"

I did it the other day as well (before reverting back to 5). Point your BlackBerry browser to the link at BlackBerry Wallpapers, Ringtones, and More and it will download and install the ringtones.

It works as I did it on Friday after my upgrade to OS 6
