Ok for life of me I can't figure out how to put my fiancé's new 8530 into sleep mode. She's had the phone for a few weeks and she can't even find the box now with the instructions. She used to have an older curve where you can hold the button on top to put it in standby but on this new one its media controls. So does anyone know how or if its even possible.

I actually have one of the side keys set up to lock the keypad. But she hates having to hit the 2 buttons to unlock the keypad.

Thanks in advance for the help

Until it gets updated to OS 5.0, anyway.

It's been removed and now the lock button is similar to standby.

Oh well. She's thinking of taking it back and just keeping her old curve. She loves trackpad instead of the ball though. I told her to take it back and just hold out for the new tour with the trackpad.

Yep. I have a brand new TMo 8520 still in the box with the stickers on it. I never liked it.

My mute button still works for standby mode, and I've updated to 5.0, hmm.
