Hello,

I have a Q10 which is facing a weird issue. When I configure my gmail account on it using Active Sync or IMAP, my account syncs for about 4 hours and then stops receiving mails. I am able to send and receive mails after logging into my gmail account, but from my phone, I can only send emails and not receive them.

My account won't receive any mails until I remove and reconfigure that account once again.

I have tried turning off push and turning it on without any luck. Can you please help me resolve this issue.

This sounds like a carrier issue. Before doing anything to the phone I would call them and explain the issue. Sending email or receiving email from the phone should be the same.

If you were not able to send at any time even after configuring the account I would suspect the BB but because it works for 4 hours it seems to point to the email service or carrier.
You might configuring a new email account on yahoo or another free service and see if that works or does the same thing. IF it does I would call the carrier and make sure your account is set up correct.
