I have somthing similar as discussed in this thread:

delete spaces as I may not post external url's as i have less than 10 posts!

but after a upgrade ht e browser is not asking for authentication anymore and gives http error 400 :bad request. on Handheld nothing changed.
I am noob on BES, and confused on how to configure the proxy settings.
And the BB doc does not explain too clear for me:

fiddled more with the proxy settings and IT policies looks like it needed some time to distribute.

Finally it works again.
