It seems very hard to get much real unbiased info on these units. As a seller, you may be reluctant to give your opinion, but you have all of these to test and we don't. I am a member of Coffeegeek.com and one of the nice thing is that vendors will often give pretty honest comparisons of the pros and cons of the products they sell and will answer any questions posed. Granted these are big $$ purchases and one doesn't want to make a mistake but even in that arena they usually offer a 30-45 day no hassle return policy. Thanks for any info you can share with us.
Actually anyone that knows me can tell you... I don't have much of a problem giving my opinion.
I have been in the wireless industry for 13 years and have worked for several major carriers. When you’re at the carrier it's tough to anything outside of their bidding... When I started my consulting business 3 years ago I had one thing in mind... If I wouldn't use it I won't recommend or sell it. SmartPhoneDepot is another extension of that mantra. If the Nokia turns out to be crap SmartPhoneDepot won't sell it. I have called some of the customers that have purchased them and they have all reported good results. That's encouraging but not the gospel.
I replied to the other forum thread on the 810/820. As I said above I will have to make time to test the Nokia.
Since you brought it up maybe I will develop a chart of these to aid prospective buyers. Since something newer and shinier comes every week... at this point you can't go wrong with the HS810.
Thanks for the quick post. I will be looking forward to your chart. I am sure other users will find it of value too as there is a lot of hype and very little hard fact
I just shelled out almost 100 bucks for the HS810, but I can't stop looking at the Nokia. I really want to see how it fits. The HS810 seems a bit "loose" or less secure than I would like...the design of the Nokia looks like it might fit more snugly, but without added bulk.
