Is it ok to use the blackberry bold 9780 while it charges?

That is, is it safe to use the blackberry bold9780 while it is connected to the charger, and charging the battery?

Have been told that this should not been done, in general, with regular mobiles at least!

no issue at all, I do this on every electronic device I have ever used

use it while charging is not an issue, how would you drive a car?
