Default Need to develop internal blackberry video website

Please Login to Remove!

I'm in need of some help and was wondering if anyone out there is doing this already. I need to develop an internal website for blackberry users so they can download internal communications while on the road. For Example a weekly address from the CEO. Anyone have any ideas? What would be the limitations?

I was out most of the night at Christmas party but saw this post and wanted to respond.

Presently the one devices that can stream are the Bold and Storm so unsure what your environment is like. Basically you could do this by putting up a simple page and have embedded links. I believe RIM has a KB with the supported video formats. Keep in mind you don't want any lengthy content as it will double whack your battery life as you are playing video and going over the carrier network.

I would also 2nd Chalk. We have been going through a proof on concept for various communcation / e-learning topics and it's a fantastic product. What's nice is you can track all content (if needed) as well expire it etc.

Great idea! I work for a creative comms agency and we have been delivering a lot of video content on SD cards for people to view on their BlackBerrry with great succees - there's a real wow! factor when execs get to show and share the video with colleagues. Now, like you, we are looking into delivering from web site e.g. streaming content. You might want to try with SD cards first to get the ball rolling. I would be most interested to hear how you get on.
