Hi Everyone,

Last month we launched Phoload.com, a new free mobile software download website. The site hosts are over 200 great free applications and games that have been uploaded directly by the software developers.

We designed Phoload to be really clean and easy to navigate so you can find exactly what you are looking for and discover new and exciting software along the way. You can also filter the site by your Blackberry, to view only compatible software.

Almost all of the software is compatible with Blackberries. We currently only host JAD/JAR Java software but we will be adding ALX/COD support in the near future.

The site is nice, but I think your title is a bit misleading because not all the apps are free. Having a free trial or demo version isn't the same as totally free.

@daphne Yes you're right, we should probably say 'free-to-download' or something else instead. Also some the software is ad-supported, so may not count as 'free' too, depending on your definition. Having said all that, there is plenty of completely free software on there, as well as the demo and ad-supported apps.

@Shaun We'll be doing a a big push for Blackberry specific content before the end of next year, so I'll post again when we have done this and the COD/ALX support (if that's ok).

It should work fine on your 8330 Curve. Mobile aquarium is one of my favourites. I'll PM you the direct download links. [Edit: I have since found out that Mobile aquarium does not download and install correctly on Blackberry phones, so we have marked it as not compatible with the Blackberry phones]

We don't yet have every single Blackberry model listed on the site. We are working on this, but in the meantime, if you select a Blackberry model that is listed similar to yours, you should see the software that will work on your phone.

Gr8 site mate....have another piece of SAT NAV software thats free that you could add..

Have been using it for some time and works a treat.

check it out on a PC first, and if your phone is compatible then you can download it by navigating to nav4all.com/install on your mobile phone.
