Default Intellisync Question

Please Login to Remove!

Alright, Two questions.

1. When using Intellisync, I have BlackBerry Wireless Sync turned on for my Calendar, however since this hooks up to my Work Calendar, I don't want PERSONAL entries going over to the Calendar, is there a way to prevent this?

2. Ive noticed on a few models at work all of a sudden some BlackBerry units aren't getting e-mail pushed down to them. I re-create the PIN number, Delete them from the BES Server, attempt to readd them, no dice.

Can someone shed some light?

Mark the entry as private, this will still push them over to the company calendar but they will not be visible to anyone (test and try it out).

-What version of HH code
-What version of Desktop Manager
-Can they Pin2Pin
-Can they send email
-Are you on Exchange or Domino or Groupwise
-If you are on Exchange check the Blackberry Desktop Redirector (Program), not the Redirector Settings

-what are the stats, are they getting filtered? when was the last contact?

use backup/restore -> advanced -> select service book database on Right hand side and clear it, regenerate the encryption keys.
-if that doesn't work, create a new mapi profile

-if that doesn't work

-clear servicebooks as noted above - do not generate new encryption keys yet
-shut down Desktop manager
-remove user from BES

-get a copy of DBCLEAN.EXE
-RUN ONLY FROM USERS DESKTOP **DO NOT RUN ON BES**
-run it on the users desktop 2 times - it should say "nothing to delete" or soemthing along those lines - that's ok!!!
-readd user to BES
-launch DM on user computer
-cradle/connect bb
-it should prompt to generate new keys - generate them
-test

Also, there are problems with DM 4.0.0.30 -> upgrade to 4.0 SP1

Excellent steps.

One Question - where do I get a copy of "DBclean" ??

Edit:

They can send Email and CAN SMS. so I know the Wireless is available. Just no Receiving capabilities.

Also on the Private Entry - Admins can see, my purpose is to get rid of this option period. To be honest I'd rather it not even transfer to my Notes Calendar just to remain on the Blackberry.
