On my 7250 there is a small image in the upper left corner that looks like a document and it has a down arrow on it.. then it has a small 1 to the left of it.. what is this? What does it mean?

it's a "push information" indicator. Do you have any push services installed? BBWeather/BBToday are push services.

Indicates that there was some information that was pushed to your device.
