8820 and Ford Bluetooth

Can anyone help me?
My wife has got an 8820 as a work phone and I can pair it to her Ford S-max but cannot access the address book - therefore cannot dial out on hands free.
Software version: v2.2.2.175 (Platform 2.5.0.33)
Orange UK
I have activated Address Transfer option within BT menu but still does not work.
Must admit to not being totally familar with 8820 so any help would be appreciated.
