Just one more positive report of a Rogers Bold operating smoothly on this OS. I didn't even run the shipping OS so I can't say how it compares, but things are great right now.

And yet another satisfied Rogers customer with the 4.6.0.126 update.

Not a glitch yet (I'm sure its in there hiding from me).

The 3g switching to EDGE stopped for me entirely.

I'm waiting on my 8gb micro SDHC card to arrive to really give it a work out.

m.youtube.com is great. I was watching some MXC this morning killing time on a break.

For those of you that have upgraded the Rogers firmware is it worth it. What are the differences?

Thanks

Well I've updated my Orange UK Bold as per this thread which is no bad thing. However my hope was that this would solve the media streaming issues I've been experiencing with youtube but alas it has not. Still get the error attempting to play media. Other than this I can't speak for any other improvements at this stage but I had no problems updating. Thanks for this.

I just updated however I do not see any changes. They must be very minor.

Another satisfied Rogers customer here with a successful update. Only took me about 25-30 mins total but I barely have anything on my Bold.

You should change the os you're showing in your info. It's 4.6.0.126 and not .243, that's the build number and not the os number. Ppl will start pming you asking where you got .243 from. Lol.

won't upgrading the OS on a Rogers Bold void any warranty? If so (which I'm pretty sure is the case), I'm waiting for an official release from Rogers...

It shouldn't void the warranty cause you're upgrading with a official release os and not beta.

I just did the upgrade on my Rogers Bold. No issues. Does anyone have a listing of the bug fixes in the new build? Just want to know what actual bugs were fixed.

.134 is buggy. The browser fails 99% now on you tube.
Thatis on WiFi too. Its no better in other sites too.

3G is not always availabe. I was even back on GPRS for an hour this afternoon.
When I got this !old on monday, 3g was fine. I've updated the OS 2X now and its like I went backwards with it.

Time to roll back the OS to.126 again.

I'm on .134 too and have yet to ever drop the 3g on .125, .126 and now .134. Youtube works perfectly over wifi. I have yet to get it to work consistantly over 3G with any of the OS's but that's a Rogers thing.

after upgrading to this OS, I am having a memory problem. Can I do a re-install of the same OS and then while upgradin, uncheck the languages/softwares that I dont need?

Will this help?

Most importantly, can I do a re-install of the same OS and is the procedure for this the same as when doing an upgrade?

Did anyone try this version for a German T-Mobile branded device?
