Default tmo bbpearl and bmw bluetooth

Has anyone been able to pair a tmobile bb pearl to the bmw bluetooth installed in their cars. I know it isn't a listed phone on bmw's website, but why can the bb pearl from cingular/at&t pair and not tmobiles?

I've paired nearly the entire line of T-Mobile phones to customer's BMW's,
and I've found that some devices are more stubborn than most.

I can't recall about the Pearl, it's been a while.. but I know that almost all phones are stubborn with BMW's.

Takes a lot of trial and error, and repeating the process in order to successfully complete the process.

Just keep trying, about all I can suggest.

Default It will work

As a BMW Service Advisor I have had to pair many phones to the vehicles. I have personally paired the Pearl to all three series from 06 up. Anything older may have issues as the technology was still new to BWM. It will take some time for the phonebook to load and if the phonebook is totally sim based it may not load at all. Persnickity at best.

Hope this helps!

You must turn your bluetooth on your phone first, then turn the bmw bluetooth... After that is done run a scan on your phone to pick up the bmw blue tooth, once you found it connect, then on your bmw you will have to input an access code... make it easy for yourself 0000 and enter it, then go to your phone and plug in those same numbers and the devices should pair up, I got it on my 335I its very useful, and you could always keep it on in the car so everytime you step in or out it will connect autimatically!

I have a 2007 bmw and it works flawlessly. Address book comes up and it automatically connects everytime I'm in the car.
