Default Missing street names in dashboard

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, I have a BB Bold 9000... And I noticed when I use BB Maps, I'm missing the street names in the dashboard.(Where it tells you how many satellites and speed you're traveling at)

Is there an option to turn it on or something? Cause I was comparing it with my friends BB Curve 8900, and his phone shows the street names that we're traveling on.

I remembered mine use to do it, but not anymore... What's the problem? Thanks!

Have you tried it in another location yet?

I'm not sure if it'll make a difference... Cause I was using both phones at the same time while we were on the road. His would show the street names and mine won't.

I don't have an explanation then. There's the old hard reset. Who knows. Have you tried it?

There's nothing else wrong with my phone other than the missing street names in the dashboard... It's not the biggest deal, so I can't justify spending the time to reload everything back on. Just thought there was a quick fix or something. Oh well, I'll just wait until the official 5.0 OS is out. Thanks!

Hard reset = pulling the battery for about 30 seconds. Do it with the BB power on.

Your issue doesn't sound like something a hard reset will fix, but a hard reset fixes many odd problems. It's worth a try.
