Why not check Horizon Wireless Online, one of the forum sponsors. You definitely know what you get from them.

Also try using the SEARCH key and see if you find anything.

They list $60 to unlock a Bold 9000 on Bell network. I paid just under $20 for the same service with a highly touted eBay seller and they provided not one but two codes to unlock my phone.

'Nuff said.

Unlocking your phone would not void you warranty and they will give you an unlock code. Just tell them you are going over seas and that you would like put a different sim card in you phone.

I recommend doing it yourself. Thats what iv done in the past. Its simple and completely free. Just call up ATT, give them your IMEI adress, and follow these steps once they send you your unlock code How To Unlock Your BlackBerry For Free

Unclefester, if you had read this thread, you would see that the "calling your carrier for a free unlock code" had been discussed already.

You've offered no new information.
