On your BB Curve...how many words per minute can you type?....

I estimated myself around 45 wpm without looking...pretty accurate too....

Where might I find an accurate test?

I think I'm above 50wpm because I can type very fast and I know the keys. I have proven this to my buddies as they read me a paragraph and I typed it without looking down at all. Only had one error!

I've had my curve for a few weeks now, and I'm still pretty slow at typing compared to suretype and my Pearl. I would say somewhere around 30 WPM.

It would be interesting to find a test somewhere and get a more accurate rading though.

how do you know how fast on your blackberry? Is it some sort of test for the bb?

On a computer, i'm close to 200WPM.

You count the words you can type within a fixed amount of time, i.e., 60 seconds.

I used to be really fast on a Pearl with Suretype, and didn't need to look at the keyboard. Now on the Curve, I'm definitely much slower. Maybe there's some standardized test or paragraph we could agree to do and time ourselves by, that makes use of most of the keys on the keyboard. Sounds like a fun thing to do.
