I am using BB Desktop Manager v4.5. I have removed all of my contacts from my device. I have 6,580 contacts in my MS Outlook. Every time I do the synch process (Outlook overriding device), I am able to only transfer 1,512 contacts at which time I get the following error:

My guess would be that's the limit of the address book on the device. Not quite sure, though, I'm not that popular.

no way it's the limit, i've got over 2k and my boss has over 7k in her bb. have you looked at the sync log to see what contact it's failing it ? perhaps something wrong with that address book entry.

Almost sounds like a memory address problem to me. That code looks like a memory address. Before you resync, try checking your memory in "status" to see what you have free. Have you already loaded a lot of other programs? What does your calendar look like? Are you saving 10 years of appointments as well?

Sounds like either a blank or corrupt entry is causing the sync to stop. Have you checked the log to see which record stops it?

How can one tell which record is the one corrupted not allowing to sync?
I am also getting that same error message.

i got this same error message and the way i solved it was
1.- I exported all of my contacts from outlook to a excel file
2.- deleted all of my contacts from outlook
3.- sync the empty address book with my BB
4.- imported the contacts again from the file created in step 1
5.- sync

all of the contacts now went into my BB, no error message
