Default Vista 64 bit and Desktop Manager

Please Login to Remove!

Surprising to me, I was unable to find a thread on this. Nor could I find the topic on the RIM site or Blackberry Solutions. It must be there...right?

I can't get Desktop manager (v 4.6) to run in Vista 64 bit.

Is DTM (any version) compatible with Vista 64?

Is so what version of DTMgr do I need to use?

Thanks ladies and gents for the help.

Apparently DTMgr v 4.3 does work in Vista 64. I have it up and it seems to be working okay. I may try the new OS for Verizon and give the later version of DTMgr another try. Feeling better now that I can at least get 4.3 to work.

i have vista 64bit running on my computer also have the last version of desktop manager running on it with no issues. make sure when you install it you install it as an admin. vista is really nuts about who is doing the installing.

Just for reference - DM 4.6 works great on Windows server 2008 64 bit and server 2003 64b. I have upgraded several BBs on those.
