Hello everyone-

I am a new owner of a Curve, and loving it. I especially appreciate all the great info on this forum. I have searched and not found an answer to my dilemma, so if it has been posted, please forgive me. My problem is this: when syncing between my BB and my address book in OE, all but the street address is synced. My contacts' names, city, state, phone #, and e-mail info is syncing, but NOT their street address. Any idea what needs to be done to fix this, besides going in and manually inputting each one? It is driving me nuts, and I would love to find a solution. I appreciate your help in advance, and thank you for all of the knowledge you have provided a newbie like myself so far!

Make sure the fields are mapped properly in the Desktop Manager

I probably should have added that in addition to being a new owner of a Curve, technology isn't really my strong suit. That being the case, how do I check to make sure the fields are mapped properly? I really appreciate the help - you're my only hope so far!

welcome to you both. which device (PC or BB) has the contacts with the street address field? do they both? how did you set up the sync, 2 way, TO device, or TO PC?

After playing around a lot, I actually found the field mapping stuff last night. The PC was the one that had the street address info, but it was not mapped to the BB, so the BB was not showing addresses. I added it and changed some other mapping, and now after syncing, I have multiple entries for each contact. So I'm guessing I was doing a 2 way sync? Where can I go to change it to only sync from PC to BB to avoid more duplications? Any suggestions on how to clean up my address book? Would it be easier to wipe all contacts from BB, set everything up in Outlook with only one entry per contact, then sync to BB? Thanks so much in advance for your help, and for checking back on me!
