What's interesting (to me, anyway) is the BB News launcher is working fine on the 9630; the others are returning the 'protocol not supported error'. Thanks in advance to whoever is working on this!

Default Please provide the source code for it so that anyone can use it easily .

Hi,
i am very new to bb. I have to make a app like the WSJ plugin for bb. Please have a look at the link below.

online.wsj. com / public/page/0_0560.html

[Please manage the url as i was not able to post url.]

and watch the "WSJ.com Mobile Reader Features" section.

For implementing such functionalities, I am not sure how to proceed. I should take the path of browser development or I should take the path of java developemnt. I tried few hands on java develoment but was not very successfull.

Also, if possible please open the source code so that any one new can run it on its simulator and go through the code for getting the goof understanding.

Still stuck how to proceed.

Please help me in moving forward.

Hoping for a positive reply ...

I'm having the same problem as you. I know you said that the problem was being addressed. I just tried installing today and I've gotten the same error as you stated.

Wonderful! Now I can get rid of the bookmark. I'd rather have the site be a nice icon. It deserves it's own place! I can't believe how much good stuff is here! I even found an answer for my firewall issue on a non-BES BB. I will be coming back to this site frequently.

BES: BlackBerry Enterprise Servers. Used by lare IT departments for managing BlackBerry devices. Some carriers offer the service, as well.

I'm doing an install via DM, and the .alx links just post a page, rather than give me a dl...Any thoughts here? I;d like to add the WAP and FAQ to my BB. And, no, I cant do an OTA, unless someone wants to actually post the site addy's.
