Default Trouble Syncing Calendar with Yahoo

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there- this is my first time posting and I am not tech savvy at all. I have tried just about everything to fit my blackberry so any help would be appreciated!

A few days ago my blackberry curve 8520 stopped syncing to my Yahoo Calendar. The address book and email syncs both ways and perfectly fine- it's just the calendar that is not working at all anymore. I have double checked that it is programmed correctly and everything. ATT tech support couldn't help so if anyone has ideas, please share

Have you tried a battery pull?

What were you doing just before you noticed that it wasn't syncing?

Battery pull? I was re-organizing my calendar because i had 3 emails connecting to it. I changed it to only have 1 default. I deleted the emails through Service Book but I'm not sure if that was relevant to my calendar not syncing anymore...

With the device on, pull the battery for about 30 seconds. Reinsert and let the device reboot. Might help as it fixes many ills and should be the first thing you do with any problem.

If you were fooling around, deleting service books, etc. you just might have screwed everything up. Service books control most of those areas.

First try resending service books and see if you can get it sync again.

If not, do a restore from a good back up.

I tried doing the battery pull and the calendar still is not syncing. How do I go about getting my original service books back?

Check which calendar is default one. (options>advanced options>default services)
Go and see how many calendars u have
open Calendar> menu button>options
If u have there more then one calendar. Type word "move" (without quota)
that will move all calendar entries to default calendar.
Try to sync. If doesn't work again, then probably u have coruption in inteliisync folder.
Delete intellisync folder. Open DTM, click on options>data folder option. New window will popup. Navigate to folder which states below current folder (c:/etc/etc/etc). Delete intellisync folder.
On DTM go to synchronization and click on reset synchronization.
that will create new intellisync folder. After that click on synchronization and setup ur synchronization again.
Tray to sync. Should work.
Let me know

PS. For service book

navigate to
options> advance options> host routing table>select any GPRS entry in HRT> press menu key> select register now.
u will get "registration message sent", and u will get new new message that u r registered on network.
That process automatically triggers to service bok to be sent on ur device.
If u need service books to be sent PM ur PIN and i will kindly sent u service book

IT WORKED! Thank you so much- I have been stressing with this for days. I really appreciate it.

If you wouldn't mind I just have one more issue that I cannot seem to figure out:

I have 2 emails setup, a personal and work. Up until a few days ago, I could send and reply to emails from both. Recently, it has only been letting me email through my personal one and not the work one. When I type an email reply through my work email it only shows the option "save draft" and "full menu"... when I click the full menu "send" is not even an option. I have tried deleting the email and then adding it back on but it still won't work. Any suggestions?

I'm having that same issue as listed above. I've done all of the steps list above that BB Tech put out there, but for some reason my calendar appts are still not coming across to my desktop outlook calender. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
