Default Best Msn app for blackberry?

Please Login to Remove!

I have the Window live messenger one but it seems like it doesn't load contacts and stuff most of the time..
I'd prefer a free one aswel and an application instead of the ebuddy one that uses a browser
Can anyone help me please?

There isn't.
Windows Live Messenger by Research in Motion is the only "MSN only" app.
Others like IM+, Palingro are for all instant messaging services [yahoo, aim etc] but i've no idea if they are free.

Hello,

A friend on a BB8520 uses Nimbuzz ( a free app ) and it looks fine, he is happy... You could look into that one.

Regards,

Am I being daft, but is there ANY way to rename (or add a nickname) to my MSN Messenger contacts instead of me trying to work out which "Alex" is online?

Not via the MSN app, only via the desktop program.

Thanks Midnight .... I have added nicknames via the MSN Messenger Windows application, but they don't get transfered to the BB one, do they? Bit of a major problem when most users simply call themselves by their first name.

yeh.
And its part of the new Windows Live Essentials 2011 Messenger, that you don't have "display names" you have the name you have entered into your profile.
Which, if you have many people by the same first name and that's all they enter, that's what msn now shows.

There are available different messenger software programs to your BlackBerry available in the market. It runs on your computer, so you do your BlackBerry various things, such as backup all the data, install new applications, etc.
