First I think it is ridiculous that such device does not come with an internal world clock (ever cell phone has one now), then they make you to pay $99 for the software on handango.com. All I want is the clock not some wether forecasting and citysearch stuff to find out where I can find decent food in another country. (Who uses that anyways?)
If something has a world clock software, please help and post here.
Somebody posted the name and link to one here in the past two weeks, I forget the name of it. I don't remember if it was free or commercial, but I tend think it was free app.
Handango does not "make you pay" for anything, it is your choice to purchase the product, or not. The fact that a developer wishes to feed his family off his intellectual property may be missed on you, it seems. Do you work for free?
Well, I get you point... but I do think World Clock should be pre-installed considering most manufacturer offer that on their devices.
I don't work for free, I work for myself, well... actually work for my wife and family, if you know what I mean.
You are certainly free to purchase or invest in one of those devices that has what you want built into it... isn't that what you should be doing anyway? buying what you want?
Works alright, especially since it's free, but I found some problems with the database: e.g., China's in reality on 1 timezone but this apps lists Beijing and Shanghai as different.

<blatant jab at iPhone>
I think the iPhone has a world clock... of course would would then have to carry a second device which costs a lot more than the $99 for the software. You would have a nicer audio player... but wait you can't use stereo BT headphones. You would have a nice big screen.... that doesn't support secure e-mail. You know what? Take the $600 from the iPhone cost and buy the $99 software, a 30GB iPOD or a Zune, and a round-trip last minute weekend getaway on Southwest or Continental.

sorry, I just don't know what got into me.
