I have an 8700r on BES. The track wheel is dying and has become very sensitive. At some point, I realized I must have accidentally clicked "Delete prior" and removed a significant chunk of my email. However, I have received numerous messages since then, and so can't simply perform a restore. Is there a way to only restore the missing messages? Thanks.
Unless you have a backup (via Desktop Manager) that was done before you clicked Delete Prior....then not really.
I say 'not really' because you could just send them to yourself again from your mail client (Outlook), but then you don't know who the original sender was.

Sorry, I should have been more clear - I do have multiple backups (.IPD) available which would contain the missing messages. My understanding was that if I performed a restore using one of these backups, it would replace my device data with the contents of the backup, and not simply append to it. So this is why I am asking for a non-destructive restore method, if possible. Thanks again.
One workaround:
email those newer messages to a server where they can be held until after your restore process. Then email the newer messages to yourself (your BB) again.
bump I would like to know how this worked....... looks like an interesting app and certainly could prove to be amazingly useful (if it works and doesn't completely mangle the IPD!)
