Default OEM Skin + OEM Case = Loose housing?

Please Login to Remove!

Just a thought.

So far this is my 5th curve. So far, all of the housing has pretty much been crap except for the first one, which sadly suffered from a constant SOS problem.

2nd garbage housing. 3rd, was fine until 2 months later (the antenna/mic bottom cover was loose as hell and kept popping up!). 4th, was recieved and had funky screen color. 5th, i thought would be the end everything. Everything was pretty good, housing was not "perfect" but pretty darn good. After a few months, again the bottom cover is loose as hell and a lot of movement.

I check everyone who I come across that has a curve, and its almost like their piece is glued on!

Then I think to myself, no one else out there I saw, uses the OEM Curve Skin, and OEM Curve pouch. Not the pocket pouch that came with the 8320, but the nice pouch (either tote or swivel clip) with the magnetic flip top. I'm starting to think that maybe the combo of the skin + case might cause this over time?

I can see a lot of things wrong with how my curve is built, housing isn't tight and flush around like everyones else I see, and the bottom piece has always had a slight gap where it meets the housing, being pushed downwards.

But is anyone else using the skin + case combo? I starting to think this a tight fit and might be causing why my bottom cover is always becoming loose.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8100/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

More than likely refurbs. Depending on carrier after so many bad refurbed units they will offer to send (you may have to request)a brand new unit or a different device altogether
