Default VZW in SoCal - up/down the network

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone else in SoCal with a BB noticing a significant drain on their battery due to the network going up and down from 1x to 1X and then EVDO and back again? It seems like this past 3-4 days my battery (at full charge in the AM) is down to 20-30% and the only thing I've noticed is that I seem to have a radio issue where I'm cycling up and down and I know the radio searching for network coverage can eat your batt like no tomorrow.

There's a guy at my office who has an Alias and has had the same issue, but no other BB users to speak of.
