Default Bold on Verizon

Please Login to Remove!

Yes, I know it's an AT&T exclusive, don't yell at me, please.

One of my executive users asked me the following:

"I hate AT&T. I prefer Verizon. Can I buy an unlocked Bold and activate it on Verizon?"

What do you guys think?

Thanks.

No, that is impossible. Bold is not compatible with the mobile network that Verizon uses.

As acnst stated, the Bold will run on the GSM/GPRS network. Verizon uses CDMA. These are two completely different technologies.

Any expectation if the Bold will come to Verizon this year? Living in the NE, Verizon's coverage, especially for Ev-do (or HSDPA in AT&Ts case) is much better then AT&T (which I currently use).

we'll all be lucky if the Bold even comes out for ATT this year let alone Verizon. So to answer your question, not even when hell freezes over will it come out for VZW this year.
