Just my experiences:
- UMA now works again
- Fixed the forward/back delay timer in the media player (previous build required a trigger finger to ensure that adjusting the volume up/down didn't cause next/previous track to play.
- Broke device lock over-ride when active media is playing; while watching a movie, device will lock after your normal inactivity timeout.
- EDGE isn't shifting from towers seemlessly. This might be related to me using Tmobile, but it is a definte change in device behavior. On a 1 hour trip between office and home in Atlanta metro area, there used to two well defined areas where calls would drop. There are now 5 of these areas.
- Google maps 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 lockup on the license screen (at 90%) when you prompted to update the device security settings.
- Browser speed is improved; but EDGE data issues (tower roaming) still cause many problems.

Well, Vodafone Germany already released it. Why not go with that if you are in a hurry?

As long as it doesn't physically cripple parts of my phone I consider it a win.

I'm sorry... But I'm trying to find this build... Is this 4.5.0.44? for the curve (normal) or for 8310? 8320? I'm confused :(

Thanks!

Location is one of the better kept secrets in the BB world it seems -- people must be taking NDA's pretty seriously this time: no trace of it on any search engines (except people begging/wishing for a link!)...

Tantalizing... I'm enjoying 4.5.0.42, but want my VM / message waiting indicator back....

I understand the VM issue is still in release .44. You could always get a YouMail account. This works very very well.

I guess I'm confused as to why Vodofone released it for the 8310 but not the 8300. Is there going to be a release for the regular 'ol 8300? Or will the 8310 version work for it?
