Well, we all kinda knew this delay was coming. Lets just hope that August does not turn into September or November or . . . . . Christmas?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 3.141529)

BREAKING NEWS: AT&T Bold Delayed Until Mid-August? | BlackBerryNews.com

I think the iPhone has more than a bit to do with this. Perhaps ATT didn't want both launched at the same time.

So, Brad, do you think the iPhone2 hit AT&T about 1-2 months ago, so that it will inline and on-time to release on schedule?

AT&T employees have had access to the 9000 for some time, well over 3 months.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

Does this slow up the release of items behind it?

IF ATT did this to help the iPhone, hell with them. RIM needs to not release to GSM first all the damn time. Go GSM and CDMA for launches! Damn..... *shakes head*

Everyone says that GSM gets things first but that is really not the case. 8130, the first pearl 2, was launched on CDMA before GSM got their pearl 2. With that came video recording, full voice recording, and 8gb+ media cards. the 8330 is more advanced than any of the previous curves, with 50% more memory and it launched also with 4.3. The 9500 will be CDMA on VZW.
