Default Input Language visible in corner, driving me nuts!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone!

I will try my best to explain this to you. I would attach a screen shot but I'm not quite sure how to do that, so if someone can tell me how..i'll do it.

Okay so lets say you're typing an email and you click on "alt-enter" you have a screen that pops up to choose which language you want the typing to be in. What should happen is, when you pick the language the screen disappears and thats that. But for some reason in the top right hand corner of any screen I use to type anything (email, bbm, text, IM) the language setting is there, it shows "EN" for english. It's soo annoying, and I know it wasn't there before.

If you're going to ask me why I clicked on "alt-enter" in the first place, I didn't...i was just typing quickly and accidently with the keys strokes i clicked those keys to prompt the input language thing.

I've tried going into Options > Language to see if there is soemthing there that makes it disappear..but to no avail! I know i could just ignore it, but its annoying me..

Please help!

A battery pull should fix your issue and remove the EN from your screen. If you don't use any other languages, you could remove them and prevent this from happening again.

I know that may not be exactly the solution you seek, but I removed all languages except for English using an Application Update from the desktop manager. So now I don't see any language display (I tried the alt enter thing).
