Disappearing Shortkey

I used to be able to press ALT+O in message view to filter on outbound messasges (I normally keep outbound messages hidden).
Recently, the ALT+O and ALT+I shortkeys stopped working, and I cannot find any option to bring them back. Can anyone help?
