Ring your service provider to check (that's what I will need to do) - it is mainly to make sure your sim is 3g and data enabled.

If it is not, your service provider should send you a new sim free of charge,

hope this helps

Solid answer: Yes.

You should have no problems. Many people are doing it.

I have had no sim related issues...
What are the CSRs calling "sim related issues"?

Yea, when I upgraded mine the rogers rep checked to make sure my sim was at least a "4000" series sim card. Not sure exactly what that means but apparently the sim card won't support 3g if its older.

I have a Rogers unlocked Bold and am using it on ATT, absolutely no issues with voice, data, 3G, etc. I am not sure about the SIM card but I remember that when I first upgraded to a 3G device a couple of years ago they were upgrading to new sim cards.
