Question Skeptical about unlocking Bold!!!Plz Help

Please Login to Remove!

Hi!!!
Just got a new bold from rogers. I want to unlock it and get a plan from some other data carrier because I travel a lot.
Can any one please advise me that WILL MY UNLOCKED BOLD WORK FINE WITH OTHER DATA CARRIER. [ I mean all the features including OS upgrades]

It ill work with other carriers. There are some carriers, e.g. T-Mobile US, were you won't be able to use MMS and Browser with the BlackBerry Bold, but all the other BIS and BES stuff will work.

No 3G on T-Mo either, but EDGE should work OK.

Are you looking to get just data or voice and data?

I don't think any websites unlock the Bold model. I have tried 2 so far, and after 20 days of 'waiting for my unlocking code' they returned my money back, apologizing for not supporting my IMEI and that model :S I think we should wait at least 2 months, the model is brand new..

i have unlocked tones!!!! no issues so far

The codes were in the database way before the release of the product...

PM me or email me and I'll see if i can find out what the issue was and help to get your Bold unlocked for you

Yes the Bold can be unlocked. We have unlocked over 1000 Bolds to date. If you use the forum discount located on many many users signatures, it will cost you about $10.00 give or take. If your code is not in the database, it means you have a replacement unit.

gsmphonesource.com can unlock it for you too. At the end of the day it is a Blackberry and unlocking is fairly easy.
