Default How did this happen? Device phone book rolled back in time!

I'm really baffled how this happened.

We moved a load of users to our new BES Express and (typically the MD) had this experience after a device wipe and resynch

1. A few numbers totally dissapeared - they had been added in the last few months

2. An updated number reverted back to the old number

I've checked this - and he's correct. It's like the last few months of changes on his device were not synching back to the Exchange Contacts.

Would like be possible somehow? Why wouldn't it warn that it couldn't update the BES/Exchange.

My understanding of this, is a little hazy, I'm just trying to understand how the handset could be working with the BES/Outlook contacts and yet keep some seperate entries only on the device.

There's nothing that can be done now ... i'm just trying to get my head around what might have happened. I've wiped many devices over the last few years and never seen this.

Thanks,

S.S.
