Default When will the 9700 be cheaper from Tmobile?

Does anyone know when Tmobile will release a lower price on the 9700? It's been at $450 since November, ridiculous if you ask me. I want one, but don't want to walk in and pay $450 and have it be $350 the next day heh.

With T-Mobile, you can extend your contract another year and get it at the promo price, and they will spread your payments over ten months. I've done this twice in the last three years. I've also been a T-Moble customer since they started as Voicestream. Go to the store and ask them about it. If they tell you no, then it must be a Georgia state deal of some sort, or they just like me.

T-Mobile just rolled out something called "Equipment Installment Plan"... Supposedly lets you spread your payments over months... The problem that I noticed is that they actually raised the upgrade price (at least on Me) since they started this "Equipment Installment Plan"... Just last week I was thinking of upgrading my Pearl 8100 to Bold 2 9700 - it said something like $130 for Me to upgrade... Then after the "Equipment Installment Plan" program started a week later, my upgrade price went up to almost $200... Again, not sure if it's just Me, or, for everybody...

I am on the plan with unlimited everything that has no contract to extend so you can't get a discounted phone... wish they told me that when I switched from my regular plan.

Bummer. I'd never accept a no contract setup. Been with T-Mobile from Voicestream to Powertel to T-Mobile and through it all I get everything unlimited at $75/month. I guess they like me. Been on contract status for 9 years.

Wirelessly posted (well lookie here!)

Op sounds like you are stuck paying the full retail price! It will come down eventually but not by much. Might I suggest checking out the buy seLl trade section here on BBF! Perhaps you can find a used one in good shape for a "reasonable" price!

Yah I've been trying since it came out, didn't think it would be this difficult. Craigslist is filled with tmobile employees and people that want to run a scam on tmobile and promise that the phone will be mailed to you... yah as if I'm trusting those scumbags.

with contract its like 130...thats cheap without,
ya its 450, but you can do payments, and u d'ont need good credit or anything for payments, its 14bucks a month.

i dont ever for see it going any cheaper to be honest, not until the slider comes out, that itll prolly drop to 100 w/ contract but prolly no cheaper then 400 without a contract.
