Default Blackberry Bold 9000 No charge

Please Login to Remove!

When I connect my charger with battery there is only red LED and then nothing.

When I connect my charger without battery there in only red LED and then a screen with no battery icon.

I've tested charging both from wallet and USB.

Without battery there is nothing. No LED and no screen.

How to fix it ?

When you put the battery in the bold and then connect it to the charger, you have to wait before the bold boots up again. It could take a while depending on how little battery is left in the bold.

Is the battery in the bold properly? Also, try a new battery and see if that changes anything.

Can I charge my bold 9000 when when it's off? It seems negative to me, I tried yesterday, after plugging the AC adapter the Bold is only blinking a Yellow+White color LED but it's not charging, I turned it on, then it started charging. Is this normal?, I don't think so.
Thanks.

You can charge the bold when it is off. When the light is blinking, that means it is charging.

Yeah but the neither the charging percentage not the battery meter was increasing, it was 30% when I turned it off, and it was same 30% when I turned it on after 15-20 mins.

You should wait more than 15-20 mins. Your phone will not charge in that short amount of time. Wait like 2 hours to see if the phone is charging.

Hi, i dont kno if this is the right place for this but i have a similar problem.
I went to work this morning as i always do with my fully charged blackberry bold 9000.
About two hours in i dropped my phone off a chair maybe 2-3 feet. When i turned it back on it said i had low battery even tho it was charged. It died shortly after. When i got home i went to charge my phone and nothing. Wall charger, usb to pc, nothing works all i get is the same red blinking LED. It blinks one than pauses and blinks three more times repeated i tried charging it for two house on my wall charger than on my pc and still no luck... if anyone can give me any advice on what to do i would greatly apreciate it.
THanks in Advance

Are you referring to the PC cable as opposed to the wall charger?

I have seen this issue, and it had to do with the version of desktop manager that loded the latest OS. I used a newer version of desktop manager to reload the OS and everything was working fine again
