Just wondering if I should pick one up, I've heard things like it has a bunch of bugs and stuff but I dont know if its true or if the customer just got a bad 9900

I checked the forums there seems to be some issues but anyone have a suggestion whether or not i should pick it up?

I like my 9930. The device itself is fantastic and mine has worked flawlessly since I've had it (hope I didn't just jinx myself). However I'm still a bit disappointed in the lack of apps for os7. Yea there are some apps but its a relatively small amount even in comparison to what we had available for previous BB os versions..and that amount was nothing in comparison to iphone and droid. No themes is also disappointing. Custom themes were/are a pretty big deal for the majority of BB users. The lack of a theme builder to this point is a big mistake IMO.

The 9900 ranks up there as one of my favorite BlackBerrys. Great design.

Have to agree with NJ. By far, the best device I have had from RIM.

Pull the trigger, and you will not be *sorry.

*Based on Zombie's usage and satisfaction and in no way guarantees your satisfaction and does not include Brick'd/Nuke'd/defective hardware!!!

Hahaha

Came from the 9700 before switching to 9900. Only gripe are the battery and auto focus. Over all, it is a good phone

If coming from a Blackberry, I say go for it. If coming from Android/iPhone... You could be setting yourself up for disappointment.

I used to be an avid BB lover, but was convinced to go to android. After over a year with android, I decided to try the 9900 out... I sold it on ebay after one month.

Great build quality. But no apps. If this phone came out a couple years ago, I think it would be something worth being excited about. Hated the camera. Too small of a screen for browsing. And also did not like the browser. Also had numerous problems with trying to use GPS. Also, severely annoyed that since I left BB the first time, no improvements have been made for syncing with Gmail contacts and calendars. Constantly had the normal problems of it duplicating items. Also...poor battery life (I get better battery performance on my HTC Amaze)

Two things I miss from my 9900...Keyboard. and Notification LED.

...but that's it, and hasn't taken me very long getting used to typing on glass.

My 9650 was awesome and I didn't think anything would eclipse it. But the 9930 is easily the new high water mark for RIM. Best BlackBerry Ever.

9900 is the way to go. Android is nice, but in no way for me replaces a BB in terms of usability. I could care less about apps - it's more about the way e-mail and wireless activation/ wireless backup occur rather than apps (I'm on a BES). I have the few apps I need and they work perfectly. I hate touch screen keyboards.
