Unhappy BlackBerry Messenger 1 Unread Message Blue Icon Wont go off

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys, I have got a Blackberry Bold 9000, v4,6.0.303. Using BBM v5.0.0.57. Recently got I got this 1 unread message (blue icon) that wont go off, even after clearing all my chats...

Have tried battery pull, etc.... Cleared all type of history. It's still there.

Kindly help.. Thanks...

go to your messages icon and see if it is in there. if not check your saved messages it could be in there. sometimes the somehow get in there.

Hi Nina,

How do I go to Blackberry Messenger's Saved msgs? If you are saying under messages, i have cleared all messages there...

Please advise.

I'd recommend going into your BBM and going to the bottom of the list, sometimes a new message shows up there for me when I don't have that particular contact in my BBM contacts.

I have scrolled up and down, down and up and there isnt any new message.. :(

Go the messages icon, scroll to the latest date available, then click mark opened prior. Do the same for sms and mms.

Could try removing and reinstalling BBM, but be sure to back up your contacts (remote or to a file) first.
