Default Restore Factory Settings(How Can I)

Please Login to Remove!

Does any know if there is a way to restore it to it's default settings??


****EDIT**** I found the setting called "wipe out hand held" hopefully this works!!!

That's the ticket....it should be under Options >Security Options >General Settings. This will erase all your user data in the OS and apps but leave the OS and the apps themselves untouched.

Yes, download JL_CMDER (search for it on the forums, it'll come right up) and use it to wipe the BB. Then use Desktop manager to reload the OS to the device but don't do a restore of any data. That's how to get it back to "out of the box."

so i used the JL_CMDER to wipe my Blackberry, and i don't have any files to reload to factory settings, can anyone advise how to reload the OS device from the Desktop Manager?

Hi....
I don't know if this will help you but...
Download 4.2 DM and the latest OS for your handheld...
Install the DM and run the install for your OS. Attache your BB and the DM will update the device with the latest software....

It will setup your device again with the latest software...
