I loaded this XML file and it still wouldn't allow us to push sametime to the curves especially the 8330.

We had to upgrade to the new version of sametime 2.0.25 and it started working...

Thnx fadmin. I changed my original post to reflect RIM's latest (I rarely look at it, to be perfectly honest... mine is generally more up to date ).

Should someone running BES 4.1.6 use this file instead?

I'm not sure if the 9000 is listed in there, but since it's still not really released yet, there would be no need to do so until then (assuming you're using software configuration deployments).

Talking device.xml, which one?

so as a generally rule of thumb, this file can easily be replaced and then stop/start all bberry services (or reboot server) and that's it? I have one in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader but I also have one in C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\PackageCache\FILESHARE_01besa\research in motion. How can I tell if my applications are using the second one?

Looks like the Official RIM version is up to 1.0.0.70 based on the file on https://www.blackberry.com/Desktop/D...XML/Device.xml
