Default Frustrated: Some BB's not receivng email from BES

Please Login to Remove!

BES Version 4.1.4.12
Domino 6.5.5

I have nine users whose mail resides on a Domino server who are NOT getting email to their BB's. I also have six users on this same server who ARE getting their emails on their BB's.

BES has been rebooted twice already.

All of the nine are on the AT&T network but so are some of the six.

All of the nine have BB's with an OS of 4.2.X

All of the six have BB's with an OS of 4.3.X or higher.

What is my next step to troubleshoot this problem? Which of the logs should I be looking in for a possible solution?

Any help would be... Um... Helpful.

Thanks you,

RJday

are you sure that the 9 have data provisioned properly or that if they had it, it hasnt been dropped off? try sending a pin message to one of the affected devices. if it doesnt get a chck with a d on top its a carrier issue

You'd look in the MAGT log.
You can also use the messageflow.exe tool to get a better picture of what's going on.

BES Logs ... What's in them? Part 19 of 20 (MessageFlow.exe BRK Tool) - Port3101.org : Your BES Connection

Do the devices have good wireless data coverage?
Are you sure the data plan is still provisioned on the users' accounts?
Can the devices receive PIN messages?
