Default Disable as Blackberry user

Please Login to Remove!

Greetings folks,

So on the BES server I inherited, there are several users. Only one user actually owns their own device and have recently left the company.

So I do not want to wipe nor lock the device. Just have email removed from the device. I've seen the "Delete working data from the device" but would do one further thing being wiping the contacts in the phone, and I do not need to do that (the other stuff is ok).

So if I just do the "Disable as a Blackberry user" will that work, and would I want to do the second part of "remove the blackberry information from the users mail system" or no?

Thanks,

James

unless using BlackBerry Balance, you cant really do what you are wanting to do.

archive mailbox, log in to OWA and delete all contacts

remove user from BES

"remove the blackberry information from the users mail system", this will remove from mail server which is fine and not from device

Thanks for the note back knottyrope.

So the user will wish to keep his/her contacts, so I would not want to remove them from Outlook I would think.

When the user is "Disable as blackberry user" invoked, does it just stop delivering emails or, does it actually remove the emails that are already on the device?
