Indeed, underwhelmed by the Fix List, although I would assume this SP is also a roll-up of all the SP6 MRs.

I'm happy with it. I can now sort columns correctly.

I've got it running on 3 servers including the patch for the recent pdf vulnerability. No problems here.

I installed a new Server with 4.1.4, then, the 4.1.7 update.
Now, the MDS integration service will not start any more.
There are no applications installed on this server, therefore this no problem in this case.
Still I would like to find out, what is wrong.
Edit: solved, I uninstall and reinstalled the service using the batch files in the directory of the MDSIS service/bin folder.

BES 4.1.7 installed on 5 BES hosts, installs smoothly. See the prior reference on the PDF security update, installed that too.
HOWEVER, I'd I'm noticing a new bunch of Synchronization error events in the Application log not seen in 4.1.6 for some users, annoying frequent log entries (see below):
Mostly DB=AutoText sometimes DB=Phone Call Logs
As mitigation I've disabled wireless backup from PIM Sync settings on affected users, events go quiet then. Tsupport hasn't advised what this error means, (we're) guessing the device DB is corrupted so I'm working on trying to clear affected device databases. Anyone else see these with 4.1.7? Of 1,000+ users it is only about 20 total reporting in the logs. I never saw this event on 4.1.6.
Event Type: Error
Event Source: BlackBerry Synchronization Service
Event Category: None
Event ID: 36027
Date: 11/30/2009
Time: 10:42:21 AM
User: N/A
Computer: xxxxxxxxx
Description:
[SYNC-SSession] Failed to remove GET command from SyncRequest. [user name:95, DS=Backup, DB=AutoText, GUID=-312, CmdID=-312]

Tried to patch to MR8 and had a total ****up. The installer got to the point of removing the services then crapped out and rebooted. Had to drop back and punt - fell all the way back to my 4.1.2 full install, then applied 4.1.6 updater and then MR7. We're back alive now, and thankfully it only took an hour to restore service, but that's an experience I could've done without.

Can anyone with 4.1.7 applied with the PDF distiller update check if their attachment service logging is working. Mine is borked.
No windows events, debugging is turned up to 7, tried defaults, and restarting the service and BES.
Other than that, everything is running swimmingly.

That's bad. I did the upgrade from MR5 to MR8 last week and there was no problem. It didn't even ask for a reboot.
