How would you recommend I do this? A script that scoops all the BES data up and drops it into one of the nightly backed up folders would be cool...

well ... Back up and restore the BlackBerry Configuration Database

You could make a batch file to do something like:

osql -E -Q backup database BESMgmt to disk = "C:\BESMgmt.bak"

and then set it as a scheduled task to run as a user with permissions ... and whallah you've got a backup script. I'd recommend something a bit more robust, but that would be quick and dirty and would work.

Whipping up a batch file will definitely work. I'd recommend the next command after using osql to do the backup would be copying the backup file to another server/san/nas that way your backup doesn't get nuked (again) if the box gets hosed.

Also, I'm a huge fan of using blat ( happy mailing : Blat online ) to send an email notification when a batch file completes successfully.
