Why wouldn't one use the Exchange settings for outlook.com?

They aren't working for some people. The link also lists the EAS settings. Given the choice with BB10, I'll use IMAP everytime

That's bizarre. I never had EAS issues with outlook.com on my Z10.

Works great on my Z running 10.1

Mail is all over the place on 10.2 for me. Not sure why either. I check my mail, see that it is marked as read in outlook.com and then the mail will show up as new a few minutes later on my phone(after I already checked it on my Z). I tried playing with the settings and then removing one of my aliases, but it still happens sometimes. Even stumped the Outlook team yesterday during their AMA (Ask Me Anything)

EAS on Outlook.com is working flawless for me on my Z10, Q10 and playbook.

What are the Exchange Server settings for Oulook.com? I tried it on Office 2011 on my Mac and couldn't get it to work. Works fine on my Z10 as EAS.

No, I'm not looking for the EAS settings; those are self configuring. I was looking to try and run outlook.com on my Exchange desktop client (Outlook). Seems though that it's not supported on Exchange, go figger.
