Default Loving my PlayBook

I received a PlayBook as an early Christmas present from my brother a few weeks ago. It was not something i would have gotten for myself; however, I have not used my iPad 2 in two weeks. I immediarely upgrad to the Beta 2.0 and was feeling bold so used the dingleberry app and the Android Ice Cream Sandwich launcher to use Android Marketplace. i just did it to do it and deleted most of the Android apps after verifying they would run on the PB.

I like the portability and resolution and if RIM can convince programmers to develop more apps for the PB, I would have no complaints.

I have the same experience with my iPad; once I have the Playbook I only use the iPad for a digital slate. Unfortunately we don't have a handwritten notes app for the Playbook that actually works (ala NotesPlus for ipad)

I like the PlayBook too. I'd like it better if my calendar, contacts, and memos would port over the bridge. Still getting used to the virtual keyboard. Does that ever get easier?

Playbook (RIM) or iPad 2?
I'm leaning towards the iPad 2 but my friend says that she loves her Playbook and I tried it and it seemed pretty good. I've never used the iPad 2 though. I won't really use it for it's camera's because I've heard that they kind of suck. I also like the screen size a lot better because it's more like a computer and less like an oversized phone.

Are there any other perks to the PlayBook? Which is better? Why?

Analyse what you want the PB to do and list them here to get opinions on iPad|PB comparison - simple

Let's see so far this week:
HD vid of moose at the dog park
HD vid of Xmas dinner and snaps
Taking it grocery shopping today
Plugged it into TV's HDMI and WOW
Surfing the web while commercials are on TV
Played a bunch of freecell
leveled all my pictures. (ya my eyes aren't too good at that).
Checked out starmap. Ahh. that's Venus in the SW horizon at sunset.

This little thing goes everywhere and it even fits in my coat pocket. Would be nice to have it on some kind of belt/sling/purse type strap.
