Yes you can change your PIN.

All you have to do is buy another blackberry, and then sell your current one.

LOL.

This gets asked a lot, and the short answer is no, as mentioned already.

The long answer is that it is not possible to change the PIN of your device with any publicly available software or hardware. Further, if by some sort of PFM the PIN of your device did change, RIM's infrastructure would disable the device, rendering it useless.

Because the answer is NO and still NO and absolutely NO if you want a usable BlackBerry device.

How much more sarcastic could I have been? (And I have been waiting for months for any evidence that someone has changed a PIN and then used the BlackBerry successfully for BlackBerry data).

Not with any publicly available software. I have done it, but I promise you that RIM disables the device.

Agreed. I've cloned one, but ruined two devices...

PIN's, just like a MAC address are built into hardware... You can't change either without messing up the hardware/bios.

Your computer 'masks' your mac and sends a false one... However, it doesn't change it... Sorry bucko
