I never use Blackberry Messenger and it shows up when toggling between applications. How to remove from automatically booting on start up? I can't close the program either.
That's a bug. Probably depends on the OS version. My 9700 has it correctly categorized.
It's an add-on app. It can be deleted.
Core applications can't be deleted.
Rim reports BBM as a core application on the OS 5.0 and also
Core BlackBerry smartphone applications cannot be deleted from the Application Loader tool.
Just upgrade your OS and uncheck BBM before the upgrade, then it won't be installed. Then you're done with it. No BBM, No worries, you're happy.
