Thumbs up Interesting capability...

There are times when I sit in my truck for a number of hours at a time...Doing a Hi Pressure Hydro-Test is a good example..up to 10-12 hours spent on site....SO, it behooves one to remain entertained.

I had the opportunity to DL a number of movies and put them on the PB. They play very well..but the audio left me wanting. Given I have a VM605 (BB Bluetooth), unit, I thought to myself .. "self, I should be able to connect via BTooth to my truck stereo..?" Well, I put the VM into pairing mode and connected to the PB .. however I was unable to get the VM to FM transmit. I fiddled with it for a bit but no joy.

On a whim, (my Bold was turned off due to not wanting it to conflict when I connected the PB), I turned it on and connected to the VM...no sooner had I done that and Bingo...stereo sound on my Bose system while watching a movie. Only thing missing was popcorn and a Coke.

..I was and remain tickled..!!

Kewl...

Yes, it does and the BlackBerry Music Gateway is a good example for how to use it.

I have excellent BT "DJ" Headphones from Motorola. You know, with the "cans". Great stereo sound during playback on my PB. Love it. I can also pause movies and adjust volume from the headphones.

I might have this "jury" rigged...but I can tell ya, when working on a job that requires one at times to sit for hours on end...having the ability to play movies and get theatre quality sound is just awesome. with a leather case, I can literally wrap the PB around my steering wheel for a perfect spot to watch whatever I wish.

Cheers....Now if only I could truly SYNC my Bold 9900 contacts I would really sing the praises of this unit...that and a native Skype app..yea, that would do me just fine.

Stk

Bridge your Playbook to get your contacts on it or sync to a gmail account to get native email sync with them
