Default Ramble IM on Blackberry 8703e

Please Login to Remove!

Whenever I use Ramble IM, I get disconnected very frequently and it just brings me back to the main Ramble logon screen. Anyone know why this is occuring and/or ways to fix it? Thanks!

1: It just may be ramble (and/or a bug in ramble) the product is free. I've noticed ramble doesn't like to idle, nor does it like when IM's get to long. It also doesn't like if you leave your BB at the Homescreen. I find ramble works best if I leave it on the ramble screen and pull it out and scroll once in awhile.
2: It's Verizon's fault, hell everything thats messed up or crippled on our phones is their fault.
3: It's kinda unclear (even though it's stated in another thread they do) support TCP/IP or not. We don't have an option to manually input it.
4: Yak-On works well for me, logs out on occasion (I should pay better attention so I can say if it does it when I might lose service or not), but you do have to pay 20 bucks after your trial is up.

Umm thats my .02 cents you can find somemore opinions if you run a search.

I agree, Yak-On works much better for me than Ramble did. Ramble always disconnected while Yak-On stays connected. I used to think it was a signal related problem but after using Yak-on in the same places, i doubt it is.

I've only been using Ramble for a few days but I have a similar problem. I travel between NJ and NYC everyday for work. In NJ I stay connected. In NYC where signal is always strong it disconnects frequently. Even Yak On. I'm still messing around with the options. If I find a solution I'll post it.
